Personal Crisis
The struggle in suffering
This is a haunting quote from Hemmingway. After working with hundreds of people in delicate situations, I’ve seen two outcomes from suffering; people become better or bitter.
And when he speaks of those who will not break, I believe he is speaking about those who refuse to get the right help and do the hard work.
Embracing what is broken
We all want to look our best, but human nature is also vain. The last thing we want to do is bring our broken places to light. The best metaphor to understand healing is from the Japanese art form Kintsugi. It’s a form of art that repairs broken pottery with gold. The most beautiful part of this is that it doesn’t hide the crack’s when displayed. In fact, it intentionally presents them to be seen as a new but imperfect creation. In a metaphor, imagine being able to feel great about things that have deeply hurt you? At your immersion, we work together to honor your broken places once we have filled with something of greater value.
So what’s an Immersion?

Who’s this for?
This is for any growth minded person who wants to do” the hard work” without therapy or counseling. It’s for anyone who wants to get out of the funk, the fog, the dark night of the soul that has you wondering, “I’m I going to get out of this — and I’m I going to be happy again”?
For anyone who feels like they are resisting something they must face and it’s eating away at their happiness and promise for a better future. For anyone who wants to turn a difficult time into a defining moment and start over.
